This is a dope video done by R+1 Creative, In this video you get some insight into Neil Armstrong's current interest and thoughts on his role as a DJ. I knew of Neil Armstrong back when I was heavily into the battle scene, when he used to role deep with his crew FIFTH PLATOON. He came from doing battles to selling underground mixtapes to becoming Jay-z's dj, I always had mad respect for this very talented individual. I feel the same way on his point of view on rockin' a club scene compare to doing mixtape. It's funny how I had this conversation with my girlfriend about how everytime I step into that booth I want my listeners(dancers) just to forget about all their problems that moment and just enjoy the sounds I'm giving them, that is why i don't mind playing top 40 or any songs they are familiar with, at the end of the day it's all about having fun. Doing a mixtape is a different world it's more of you are steppin' into my world now and let me open up your ears on some stuff that I'm on. I been djing for almost 15 years now and this is the way I balance things, I'm still having fun and making people smile. It's all about enjoying what you love doing.
